We are the Knights (that’s pronounced phonetically - cuh-nig-its - as of the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail) Who Say Cyclic, a group of High School students, all of whom attended 6thgrade at Challenger School. At Challenger, we each gained not only a respect of the English language but also the want to change the world. Our noble mission is to improve America, one step at a time – primarily by improving the U.S.’s tongue and correcting false ideas about how its government functions. Reviving the Cause

Salutations!
I notice we're hitting a slump in activity here, fellow knights. In the hope of getting everyone re-excited, I propose starting the Quote Competition, which was mentioned a month or two ago.
I would also like to (re)urge everyone to set a little time off every week to write something on the blog - a post or a comment, anything. And please check the blog every few days; it's not difficult to keep on top of, so... no excuses.
Additionally, on the matter of Education. Does everyone agree that that should be one of our official concerns - the declining quality of education and the lack of attention being paid towards it in America? (I already sent out an email mentioning this but I didn't get replies from everyone...)
So, put your Knight-approved thinking caps on and let's put some more life and effort into this noble organization.
Lively-ly and enthusiastically yours,
Sol
PS. In December we had eleven posts. So far, January has had... three. Hop to it, my fine feathered friends.

  1. Birds of a feather flock together, but in this case we finely feathered ones seem to be flying away from dear Sol's pleas. I agree that we must gather together our energy and soar out of the storm... ok enough bird talk. In nice, short terms- GET POSTING EVERYONE! ^.^ Yes, I agree that the education system is on the verge of collapsing. I apologize for ignoring-forgetting about your email. :) Anyway, back on topic, the education system is currently for the birds. Wait- I had a thinking cap?

  2. Okaaay, easy on the birds. That was quite sufficient. Didn't you get the thinking cap I sent in the mail? Maybe that to the wrong address, though, the one the mailpeople don't deliver to.
But thanks for your pestering. Maybe if we both yell at the others, they'll do something. (Hint hint)

  3. Haha! Yes I agree; enough bird talk! No, sadly, I did not receive the thinking cap. Yes, it would make sense if you sent it to my North Pole vacation address. The mail people can't get there without the reindeer, and the all of the ones in the forest are rented out. Hm. Well, I'd sure like to get it before midterms.
Eep! Yes, yes, they will definitely listen, because you, my friend, are intimidating! :)

  4. I LIVE!!...
I agree that the education, or rather lack thereof, should be one of our major concerns.
And also, Sol is very intimidating.
What type of birds are we refering to? Just wondering.

  5. Jiminy Cricket! Baldr lives.
The "intimidating" thing actually has a base, Baldr, you know. (Do you?) There's a story from last year that explains it.

  6. I'm glad to hear that Baldr lives. ^-^ Yes, Sol definitely deserves the title. Do you want to tell the story, or shall I, Sol?

  7. If I may have the honor, I thank you.
So, it was last year, in the hallway at our beloved school. A 6th grader (who shall remain nameless) brought up some conversation regarding the capital of India - which s/he claimed was Delhi. I responded something along the lines of, "If that is the case, then I have been sadly misinformed by several textbooks, and I apologize." And our dear friend nameless was without a reply. Good Mira here claims that I was "intimidating."
    The End.

  8. I can just see you doing that to some poor little sixth-grader.
